Scholarships Peru

The Beca Generación del Bicentenario is a scholarship program offered by the National Program of Scholarships and Educational Credit (PRONABEC) in Peru. It aims to provide financial assistance to high-achieving Peruvian professionals with limited economic resources, enabling them to pursue master’s or doctoral degrees at top universities worldwide. The scholarship covers all expenses, including tuition fees, study materials, accommodation, food, local transportation, and medical insurance. The program plans to award 150 full scholarships, with 120 allocated for master’s degrees and 30 for doctoral degrees. The studies will be full-time and in-person at the destination countries. Eligibility criteria include Peruvian nationality, proof of undergraduate or postgraduate studies, high academic performance, a definitive acceptance letter from an eligible foreign institution, a good professional and/or research profile, and a lack of financial resources to fund postgraduate studies. Applicants must also have a minimum of two years of work experience, counted after obtaining a bachelor’s degree or professional technical title.
